Landshut
About Landshut
An unexpectedly nice little town! In July, we went to the small town of Landshut in Bavaria. A town with beautiful, colourful houses and shops and cosy squares. The weather was not very sunny, it was overcast and it kept threatening to rain, but that did not detract from the nice atmosphere in Landshut. It is definitely a must visit if you are near Opper-Bayern.
Walk to the castle
You can walk up to Burg Trausnitz from the centre. We chose to drive by car to the car park near the castle ourselves, as we had already done a lot of walking with Shampoo that day.
From the car park, it is about a 10-minute walk to the castle. Dogs are welcome on the grounds, but not in the castle itself.
It is a very beautiful castle and fun to walk around, especially in better weather.
My advice: check in advance the times when the café is open. When we were there, the café did not open until 3pm, so unfortunately we could not drink anything over there.
Landshut is definitely worth a visit!

Food
We had delicious Indian food at Razdhani and Shampoo was also welcome inside!
